What a scorcher! Was it hot where you were this weekend?

I have to say I was quite miffed that I missed most of the glorious weather, but I did have good reason...

On Friday night the Boy came home after a week away for work, I got my hair chopped at the amazing Kojo & Lee, and we met up in town for a cheeky pint and Mexican food.

Saturday was spent revising for, and then sitting, my final Anatomy and Physiology exam which thankfully went really well!

After a day in the classroom I headed home to collect the Boy for a little shopping trip. A dash round Waitrose (fancy!) provided a bargain sea bass & stir fry dinner, and then a trip to our local outdoors store stocked us up with a new belay device, chalk bag and guide book on Ogwen Valley routes.

After dinner I packaged up some Spring macarons for a local delivery and crashed into bed with the latest issue of Oh Comely magazine.

Sunday was, again, spent in the classroom and whilst I slowly got cabin fever from looking at the glorious sunshine made an early escape for a date night. We hit the local Awesome Walls where I got over my massive fear of heights on their 15m wall and smashed a new grade on top rope. We celebrated my achievement with burgers and fries at the super cool Urban 1/4 in Kelham Island and then returned home for Countryfile and an early night prior to a busy week!
